Decree number 2-08-563 established on 7 Rabii I, 1430 (March 5th, 2009) for the application of Law number 42-08 for the creation of the Agricultural Development Agency

THE PRIME MINISTER,

Considering the law number 42-08 establishing the Agricultural Development Agency promulgated by the Dahir number 1-09-16 Safar, 1430 (February 18, 2009);
Considering the Dahir number 1-77-185 of Chaoual 5, 1397 (September 19, 2009) relative to the chairmanship of the boards of national and public establishments;
Following the considerations put forth by the Council of Ministers meeting on Chaoual 20, 1429 (October 20, 2008)

DECREES:

ARTICLE 1 –The Head Office for the Agricultural Development Agency is established in Rabat.

ARTICLE 2 –The supervision of the Agricultural Development Agency is exercised by the Minister of Agriculture.

ARTICLE 3 –The Board of Directors of the Agricultural Development Agency is chaired by the Prime Minister or by a government authority delegated by him to that effect.

It is composed of the following:

– The Minister of the Interior or his representative;
– Minister of Finance or his representative;
– Minister of Agriculture or his representative;
– The Minister of Foreign Trade or his representative;
– The Minister of Industry, Commerce and New Technologies or his representative;
– Two representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors may convene, in an advisory capacity, any person capable of enlightening discussions.

ARTICLE 4 – The Minister of Agriculture and Maritime Fisheries and the Minister of the Economy and Finance are responsible, in their capacity, for the execution of this decree which will be published in the Official Bulletin.
