Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the ADA and UNDP
The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, and Water and Forests presided on Friday, April 26, 2024 the over the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Agricultural Development Agency and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The MoU focuses on bolstering the youths’ entrepreneurship dynamic in the agricultural sector and developing initiatives to increase resilience to climate change.
This MoU is in perfect correlation with the ambitious objectives of the "Generation Green 2020 – 2030" strategy, which aims to foster a new generation of young entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector and establish a more resilient and eco-efficient agriculture. It also aligns with the UNDP's commitments to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to creating decent work, economic growth, and climate action.
